Full Time Order Desk/ Customer Service Representative

Location: Torlake 

Position Overview & General Accountability:

As part of the Sales Team, the Order Desk/ Customer Service Representative interacts directly with existing customers to take orders, provide information concerning pricing, availability of inventory, deliveries, back orders and the status of existing orders within the system.

Acting as the first point of contact, the Order Desk/ Customer Service Representative is also responsible for responding to and following up on both sales inquiries and customer complaints by ensuring they are brought to the attention of the appropriate internal stakeholders. 

Skill, Ability & Knowledge to:

·         Ensures incoming orders are properly entered and processed in the sytem

·         Interacts with customers and brokers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services

·         Coordinates and manages all aspects fulfilling sample requests from customers, brokers and internal account representatives including:

-Processing, logging and tracking of all sample requests

-Maintaining of sample inventory

-Organizing deliveries

·        Communicate with customers to provide accurate timely information concerning pricing, availability, deliveries, backorders, rush orders

·         Coordinates returns including processing of authorized adjustments & freight claims.

·         Reviews, verifies and codes relevant supplier invoicing (e.g couriers, carriers, etc)

·         Maintains accurate, organized Customer Information Filing/ Database system

·         Provides general administrative support and coordinates special projects as required

·         Works collaboratively as part of the Wing's Food Products team in the best interests of the Customer, the Team and the Company.

Qualifications & Experience:

·        A minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience

·        Previous experience providing customer service is essential

·        High school diploma with some post- secondary education or professional development courses

·        Able to handle complaints effectively, diffuse conflict and resolve problems

·       Flexible, hands on and results oriented team based approach

·       Able to make and sustain excellent interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization

·        Strong written, verbal, computer and organizational skills

·        Basic mathematical skills with ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages and averages required

·        Ability to use standard office equipment efficiently

·        Superior telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills

·        A well-defined sense of diplomacy

·        Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
